The 5 track Don't Feel That Way single, released in a limited run of 100 professionally manufactured CD-R's, was planned for release in December 2005 following Tycho's third album, Atlantic. However delays with settling on a US label for Atlantic's release, and delays to the mastering process of that album led to the single being released ahead of the album. The manufacturing process for the Don't Feel That Way single was also delayed when the printer at the manufacturing plant jammed, overheating and grinding to a halt a matter of hours before the sleeves were to be printed.

Tycho Brahe were extremely pleased to have Don't Feel That Way, which was written by keyboard player Andy Walls, remixed by UK artist EMP (aka Paul Boddy), who had worked with artists Lisa Scott-Lee (ex-Steps), Mel C (ex-Spice Girls), and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. I Wanna Funk With You Tonite was originally recorded for a 2004 Giorgio Moroder tribute album planned by US label Cohaagen Music which was never released. The "Stripped Mix" of Avarice offers a more intimate look at the bones of that song, taking it right back to its essential parts.
